Story telling through THEATER & FILM, touches every facet of our lives, giving us hope in moments of despair, ecstasy in moments of passion, victory in struggle and courage in conflict. We plan to provide some of the finest ENTERTAINMENT you'll find just about anywhere. We're planning to provide the stories you live by, love with, cry because of, and laugh at. We specialize in reality--you know, one real live someone reaching out to another real live someone...kind of Person to Person, if you know what we mean.

Formed in 2008, Perk Up Entertainment, Ltd, is a Limited Liability Company of Illinois providing high-level expertise in the performance production industry. Perk Up has been created to fulfill the dreams and expectations of those talented people who desire to showcase their talent, and to satisfy the demand for such entertainment performances, whether recorded or live, within the entertainment consumer industry.

Objective
Our objective is, simply, to create the business entity that authors the activities of our amazingly gifted group of individuals to produce, distribute and perform theatrical/film offerings to be marketed through the digital satellite networks, Internet access and traditional avenues of production and distribution, as well as live performances. We will do this in specific ways to achieve specific results, project by project.

Purpose
To always stay true to real life by presenting even the most uncomfortable situations in life, for the benefit of educating the world. Ultimately, Perk Up Ent. will always find a creative way to shine light on a positive side of humanity by exploring all aspects and views of any literary and/or visual presentation.

Johnny Perkins, CEO/President
The specialized nature of the company’s business scope requires a leading management individual with extensive experience, background and contacts in the entertainment field. This is what we find in Johnny Perkins.

Our visionary, entrepreneur and accomplished entertainer-executive is ready to take the world by storm with his arsenal of gifts and talents. This extremely creative man has tapped into his calling and passion in his life and is eager to share it with the world. In 1998, Johnny moved to Los Angeles from Chicago to embark on his professional career as an entertainer, after toning his craft at Trinity Christian College, and Columbia College Of Fine Arts in the downtown area of Chicago, Illinois. He has starred and featured in numerous independent films, as well as Off-Broadway productions. In 2001, Johnny decided to take control of his career by starting his own production company, O.T.A.S. Productions. At that time, Perkins wrote, directed, and produced "The Sinful Nature Of A Man" on a very small scale, do to no budget. Using only his money that he received from his day job, Johnny worked diligently toward his dream, and opened his first show at the Climax Theater in Hollywood, California. The "Sinful Nature Of A Man" ran for four weeks to a sale out crowd, until Perkins ran out of money. In 2002 Perkins stepped away from entertainment to accomplish other life goals. In 2006, unable to stay away from his true passion in life, Johnny opened "The Sinful Nature Of A Man" at West Angles Theater in Los Angeles, California. He did a two week run at the theater and once again proved that he had what it takes to sale out a venue that housed over eight hundred audience members. In 2008 Perk Up Entertainment was birth and Johnny is now back to writing and producing. Since 2008 Johnny Perkins has produced "Th Sinful Nature Of A Man" (The Regal Theater, Chicago), "The Company You Keep" (The Dusable, Chicago)

Through his past experience now evolves a businessman-entertainer with weathered wisdom, excellent creative judgment, confidence and shining talent. Johnny Perkins is a well-qualified executive who can lead this company forward in accomplishing the myriad projects already envisioned and waiting to be clothed in reality.

LARC is a private not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing developmentally disabled adults with an opportunity to work, live and participate in their community. Originally formed as a school for mentally retarded children in 1956 (the Lansing School of Special Education), LARC currently provides day training and work activity to approximately 90 adults from the Southern Chicagoland Suburbs and Northwest Indiana.
